Classic Wahabi

Meet Abu Mussab Wajdi Akkari
A young man with very critical and incorrect things to say.
Apparently it's haram to wish your Christian neighbors a "Merry Christmas."
Because that means you are congratulating them on their belief and since their belief is that Jesus (A) is God, that we are also accepting that and this is kufr (disbelief). Wow... Wahabis must have a hard time with lots of things. I wonder if this guy thanks his camera crew for putting the show (which is what it really is, just an entertaining little show) together for him. If he does, he is committing kufr because we all know that God made those people, that God allowed him to come into existence as well, that God allowed him to speak, and to cut the list short, God allowed him to record whatever nonsense he wants to say and distribute it on the internet via YouTube. He must not thank anyone that attended his lecture either, he must not thank his parents for raising him and educating him. I use the word "educating" loosely in regards to little Abu Mussab.
He also makes the claim that Ibn Qayyim, a well respected scholar and student of Ibn Taymiyyah, verbalized the following:

"As Ibn Qayyim said,
this is worse than fornication and drinking alcohol and killing someone." |
Holy smokes! (Am I going to hell for using this expression? Claiming the divinity of smoke?)
Did Ibn Qayyim actually say that?! No... No he did not. There is no proof that he said this, and if you were to actually study what he taught and what he himself was taught, you would quickly come to the conclusion that it is unfathomable for these words to creep forth from his tongue.
If there are those among you that agree with this poor example of a Muslim, then I guess that means you are allowed to have sex or get drunk before you are allowed to wish your neighbors a "Merry Christmas." Oh, you can also kill someone. Yes, be sure to do that as well.
Yes. I am being facetious.
Listening to someone spout such ignorance can only result in one feeling offended.
I will wish my Christian friends a "Merry Christmas" and I will buy them Christmas gifts.
What this kid is saying incites hatred and fear rather than love and mercy. Astaghfirullah.
May God enable him to have love, mercy, and wisdom in his heart, for he is clearly bereft of all of that.
Lastly, here is some advice for little Abu Mussab from the man he claims to have quoted himself, Ibn Qayyim.
"Seek out your heart in three situations first, when you are listening to the
Qur'an, second when you are part of a gathering of Dhikr (Remembrance) and third, when you are alone and away from the world and its distractions. If you cannot find your heart in these situations, then ask Allah to bestow upon you a heart, for indeed you are bereft of one." |
