ICC - Jummah Khutbah on Eid al Adha

Assalamu Alaikum and Eid Mubarak everyone!

I hope you all are enjoying the festivities, I don't really know what I mean when I say "festivities", I guess we meet, greet, and eat on Eid, sounds like a good plan. Anyway, today I went to ICC for Jummah, and the khutbah was really nice. What? Don't believe me? Read for yourself!

So check, check, check it out...

I went to IFS for Jummah today, I had been meaning to do this a long time ago, but never had the opportunity until today. You see, IFS and I go back a ways, but not as far back as MCC and MEC and I go. Oh, if only they knew...

Anyway, I have to say, I was expecting a nonsensical khutbah of similar quality to those of MCC, but... God is good and He gave me a break and let me listen to something actually worth listening to.

Jummah today was one Jummah I have never experienced. I should also say that I am grateful that I have not experienced this before and pray I don't experience this again.

University of Chicago MSA Jummah

Salam everyone,

Today I attended Jummah prayer at the Rockefeller Chapel on the University of Chicago's campus. The Jummah is hosted by the campus's MSA, they also have a permanent chaplain for the Muslims on campus. He was the one who led today's Jummah. His khutbah, was one worthy of imitation.
